TroisV would like to congratulate Cutters, who won their fourth consecutive Little 500 men's title this past weekend. Please refer to Article 17 of the club Constitution.
To celebrate, here's Peter Cetera singing to Ralph Macchio.

The two not-still-in-the-United-States-of-A members of TroisV met up this Good Friday morning and took a train out to the not-quite-hilariously named Headcorn to ride a 36 miles or so loop through the Kent countryside. With the exception of a couple nothing-to-sniff-at and somewhat deceptive climbs, it was a pretty flat, if potholetastic, route. For one member it conjured childhood memories of spending weekends riding around the Kent countryside in the back of his parents' car (which often made me queasy; I think it needed its rear suspension adjusted), and for another it brought home the hard fact that not all breakfasts are created equal.
We also saw some sort of wacky eco-house with a grass strip running up and over its roof.
On the train ride back we had a brief conversation with a man who owns the same bike as Dr. Matt, and who was headed to the Tour of Flanders for the weekend. A photo was taken of the the three bikes strapped together so we could almost pretend that Matt was kind of with us.
Anyway, we avoided the rain, except for the part from Charing Cross Station back home.
